Clubs at Gordon Parks Academy
Clubs at Gordon Parks Academy give students the opportunity to connect with peers who share similar interests, build skills aligned with our magnet theme, serve the school and community, and participate in enriching activities beyond the classroom. Each club has its own classroom teacher or sponsor. Meeting times— during lunch or after school—are determined by each club’s sponsor, and announcements about meetings and activities are shared regularly with students.

School-sponsored programs receive priority for scheduling. Student-initiated clubs or interest groups must be approved by administration and placed on the calendar before meeting. No club or activity may use the building, classrooms, or shared spaces without administrative permission. Approved clubs have the ability to schedule and publicize meetings, and any posted announcements must receive administrative approval.
